They're not voting because...

I've lost my vote. I'm working abroad, and have been on the register at my parents' address for the last few years since I've been moving around. It turns out they forgot to include me this time round. If I had a vote I'd be voting LibDem even though we are in a safe Labour seat. Yes, the system is far from perfect as it is - but seeing the U.S. system at work, I realise it could be far worse. It seems important that we have a reasonable third party as a substantial presence, even if they will never win (and perhaps because they will never win). A vote for a party which obviously won't win isn't wasted - it shows your support, and adds to the national figures.
