Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

They all want to bankrupt me!

None of the political parties or their candidates give a damn about me. I'm in too small a minority to matter to them. All of their policies work against me. I'm 40, work for myself, don't have kids (and am sick to death of subsidising those who have them), drink and I ride a motorbike. No matter who gets in power I'm screwed :\

Glenn replies: I hear you, 42, smoker, drinker, married home owner, no children, drive to work (60m round trip each day) and am in 40% tax bracket.

O replies: The subsidising children policy really gets to me too. I chose not to have children, whilst others chose to have them. Why should I pay for their choices? Do they pay for my pets?

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
