Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

I like the Lib Dems and have a great deal of respect for Charles Kennedy but I don't think they are capable of running the country.

I despise everything about the Conservative party.

I am very disappointed with Labour and feel they have let us down in a lot of aspects except the economy. They are the best of a bad lot but I think they need to be shocked out of their complanancy by scraping a win.

I hope they do win but I am not voting so their winning margin is reduced which will hopefully kick them a kick up the ar*e to do a better job.

(Though I may change my mind if this margin is looking too thin in the polls)

Graham replies: I agree with you wholeheartedly,
but I'm voting Lib Dem because I would like their share of the vote to go up so they will get closer to becoming the opposition. By the time that happens, maybe they will be capable of running the country. I certainly think they'll do better than the Conservatives.

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
