I'm nearly 26 and I'm not even on the electoral roll (due to a local council cockup when I moved a few years ago). None of the political parties represent my views whatsoever. Would it be so much to ask for every ballot paper to have a box for 'I don't support any of these candidates'? I would have got myself registered and gone to vote if there was. I know you can spoil the paper but why not make it official? And more to the point, why doesn't somebody come up with a decent political party that's in tune with the rest of the population?
