Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

All major party candidates are weak...

all candidates that put themselves forward for election that are affiliated with a major party should not be allowed to stand.
If they require a moral "crutch" to support them then I do not feel they are worthy of my support. When I am told that they want to work hard for us in westminster I just laugh. All the majority of them really want is to set themselves up for life financially, or to wield some power.
Call me a cynic, but that is just how i feel.
I shall attend a polling station, and will either vote for an independant who has bothered to contact me, or who bothered to make him/herself know, spoil the paper (which brings up some really entertaining ideas on how to do this....) or go for the monster raving looney party. :)

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
