Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

I believe the vote is rigged anyway ...

I believe the vote is rigged anyway and I am eagerly awaiting the publication at my local library of the current electoral role to see if the government cast my vote for me.

The other issues which are preventing me from voting is that I believe the candidates (with the possible exception of kennedy) are all lying scum who are only attempting to get into power so they can continue to remove more of our basic freedoms and turn us into sheep.

I don't like being hearded, so don't vote... It would be nice if the lack of voter turn out would cause a null and void election and bring back the ballot boxes because I'd vote then...

Vote for Kennedy then.

matt replies: The electoral role shows who is registered to vote, not who actually cast their vote.
What makes you think the election is rigged? Did the voices in your head tell you?

Lack of voter turnout would never cause a null and void election. And if it did- what makes you think they'd run another election? Surely that would just result in an even lower turnout?

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
