Voting is the fig leaf that covers up our lack of real choice, and participating in this occasional piece of public theatre just supports it. Actual shifts in power are almost always achieved by direct action and visible protest.
All 3 parties have identified the same basic position to fight for, which is supposedly moderate, but which I consider to be radically anti-social, nationalistic only in useless ways and supportive of a social system based on a narrow upper middle class/aristocracy and a broad group of poor. Nonetheless, they manufacture an image of ideological difference in order to lure customers to their own brand, and spend a great deal of time and effort on maintaining it. Thank God that, unlike the US, we have a professional, unelectable civil service that can actually administrate, free of the need to chase poll ratings.
In short, given the option, I would choose to vote actively against all three main contenders.
