The government as a whole is an inefficient waste of public resources and their budgets should be seriously reassessed, with some staffing cuts so that the money we give in tax actually makes it to the teachers (currently, the cleaners at my school make more than the teachers per year) or medical staff. We do not need IT projects run by politicians, committies just delay the process and add so many extra layers of incompetance that the end result is worthless. Some of the deadweight in local councils could be cut back (I know a person who's dad just walks from office to office all day without actually doing anything, and gets paid for it).

In short, sort the bloody mess out and I will consider voting. As it is, I intend to spoil my ballot.
