Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

I'm too young to vote, and I don't like...

I'm too young to vote, and I don't like any of the people available either. Most people my age are into the Liberal Democrats, but really, I don't know.

p replies: To Young

Garth replies: no, "too young" is correct!

A lot of young people I teach feel they want to vote and most agree that the Liberal Democrats are the party for them.

I find it exciting that regardless of what happens on May 5th, there are young "non voters" who are waiting for their chance, and their voice will be heard in the not too distant future.

Don't Wake Me Up- I'm Studying. replies: Yes I want to vote too, but if I could who for? It's either Bliar- the tan man, Fatso the tory or the amazing invisible lib-dems. *groan* We should get respect! We will bring everyone else their meals on wheels when they are all old. (as my friend Amy would say) Come on Gorden Brown, beat up Bliar and make poverty history!

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
