- I support Independence for Scotland ...
I support Independence for Scotland and this election holds little of real relevence to Scotland since devolution. Health, Education etc are all issues for the Scottish Parliament, and the issues which are reserved to London, I believe, should be controlled by Holyrood, so I'll vote in the Scottish Parliament elections to secure these...

Pete replies: Immigration is of concern to Scotland due to the shrinking population.
Jack McConnell is already talking about trying to encourage more people to settle in Scotland, which is at odds with the mainstream parties in the Westminster election.
Anyway, you can still vote SNP next Thursday.

Dave replies: Immigration is of concern, but not the sort of immigration that is being discussed in this election. Scotland does not havea problem with illegal immigration or excess immigration.
McConnell's immigration policiy is a complete shame and end the end of the day relies completely upon Westminster policy which does not help the needs of Scotland's immigration policy - this can only be address successfully when immigration is controlled by the Scottish Parliament putting Scottish needs first.
Regarding voting SNP, with first past the post in mind, thee's no point as they will never win in my constiuency anyhow...another arguement for proportional representation!
