Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

I could vote for......labour: and...

I could vote for...

...labour: and they'd join the US in war against more of the middle east in search of the almighty dollar. They'll also raise NI further which doubly hurts me as an employer and employee

...LD: They'll raise taxes. I pay enough already thank you. We've supposedly got the lowest unemployment in a long time, if they can't get by on that income we're all in trouble.

...Tories: They're a bunch of clowns. The two most recogniseable figures are Howard and Boris Johnson. That's not a party, it's a smoke screen put up to fill the two party system.

...UKIP: I don't believe it's in anyone's interests to elect such single policy parties. Hell, they're only prominent due to a certain "celebrity" endorsement.

You might say it's my duty to vote in a democracy. I say I can expect democracy to give me an option worth voting for. I'm not going to condone or endorse the "least bad" option.

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
