Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

... it doesn't actually matter !

... it doesn't actually matter who we vote for. Radical parties simply wouldn't be allowed to impose their policies, so a Naz re-run wouldn't occur. Any government will have to cooperate to a certain extent with the EU and the US because else we won't have any trade. Similarly we'll always be taxed, we'll always pay lots for petrol as oil supplies slowly dwindle, and crime will always be an issue.

Any opposition parties would do the same as Labour did over Iraq if put in the same place as Blair. I don't support it, but it was always going to happen. Turn your back on the most economically powerful country in the world? No politician in their right mind would do that.

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
