Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

all of the parties are obsessed with...

all of the parties are obsessed with spin, rhetoric, and scoring points- and they all espouse a similar neo-liberal, market-led economic blueprint. Where's the ideology? Also none of our eras big issues- global warming, corporate responsibility, AIDS, and the plight of the developing world, will make it onto the agenda. I know they're global issues but solutions/hope lies in change and pressure coming from a local and national level.

Jax replies: The Green party are anti-corperate.
You could vote for them to show your displeasure.

You will find that the Greens and Lib Dems also dont spin that much.

Lib Dems also want to cancel 3rd world debt with the UK like Brown does, surely that aids the developing world.

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
