I'm so disillusioned. I'm a politics graduate working as a high grade officer in the Inland Revenue, I chose to offer my skills back to the country and I don't even get a decent salary or pension in return. I was promised economic security in the future - now I'll be the same as everyone else.

Though I have to admit, with a politics degree, what the hell else did you think you were going to do? ;-)PS: I was two years in to a Public Administration degree when I made that realisation myself and stepped away...

mojo replies: I think they have a valid point - saying 'same pension as everyone else' think about it - civil servants except lower salaries than commercial equivalents. But saying that 'Politics' is a bit of flimsy degree and you get what you pay for!
