Not one single mainstream party has even mentioned, never mind promised to do anything about, the single most important inter-related issues ever to face mankind; Peak Oil and the environment.
Still, in some ways it's somewhat of a relief that the human race has less than 50 years left on this planet at present rates of oil consumption and emissions. Let's face it, with people like these as our "leaders" mankind deserves no better - after all, we "elected" them...
