- I didn't vote because my parents registered...
I didn't vote because my parents registered me to vote in my home town, where I don't live and have no means of travelling there as I am studying at university 6 hours drive from where my parents live.

Steve replies: I don't know how proxy voting works and the only time I heard anything about postal voting was in the media when people were complaining it was corruptable. If I had been more interested then maybe I would have made the effort to find out about such things, but there are things I dislike about all the top three parties and why put myself out for policies I dislike?
