Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

They've all got a mixture of plans that...

They've all got a mixture of plans that I like and hate (apart from BNP - just hate) -- so I can't vote for anything I think is a good idea, without voting for something I don't want too. How bloody brilliant is that?

sarah replies: why do you hate BNP when they hate nobody, just love their country and their flag?

Jamie replies: Voluntary repatriation means sending people 'back to their own country'. Why do they want to do that? Because they hate 'foreigners'.

And which flag do you love, the George Cross or the Union Jack? Are you British or English? Can you be both? If you can, why can't someone be British Asian? If you can't, you should be demonstrating against Scottish and Northern Irish people for 'destroying our identity' or some other nonsense.

jerry replies: Didn't say I hated BNP, I just said that all their plans that I have seen belong to the class of things I don't like. I wouldn't waste my energy hating Nick Griffin and his ilk.

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
