Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

cos i'm an idle b*st*rd! Come on guys...

cos i'm an idle b*st*rd!
Come on guys, anyone who has a conscience will spoil a ballot paper with 'None of the above' or just vote tactically...
The 'nothing will change' argument is quite valid, but it's about your conscience and what you're prepared to do. If you cant be bothered to vote for 'None of the above' then you will probably never, ever vote for anyone under any system... in which case it's not the system that's wrong.

Remember the census when 7% of the population became Jedis? In election terms that's a landslide.

Vote 'None of the Above' and they will stop saying you're idle, apathetic louts who shouldnt have the vote. Nothing will change, politicians will still lie, but at least they'll stop saying things like 'we need to engage the public', and they'll stop being so smug about having a 'mandate' to ignore public opinion...

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
