Not Apathetic

Tell the world why you're not voting - don't let your silence go unheard

They're not voting because...

If Slimey Howard wins I'm leaving but...

I'm 29 and haven't even registered to vote once in my life. Why? Because there is no political discussion in this country. There is a set menu of tax, immigration, health, education with which politicians snipe at each other. With positive discussion and COLLABORATION politics would appeal to the masses again.
If I was registered I would vote Lib Dem despite perhaps always being a labour leaner. Why? Because they have chosen a positive discussion at least as their campaign. Labour...maybe but now are no different to the other promise-breakers i.e. the tories who in their 'leader' Michael Howard the most dumbed-down, opportunist, slimy candidate I can remember! If Howard wins I am leaving the country... seriously!

Alan Davidson replies: Howard only gets in if he wins the election - don't let him win; pinch your nose and vote for Labour.

About Not Apathetic

NotApathetic was built so that people who are planning not to vote in the UK General Election on May 5th can tell the world why. We won't try to persuade you that voting is a good or a bad idea - we're just here to record and share your explanations. Whether ideological, practical or other, any reason will do.

A lot of users would like us to mention that if you spoil your ballot paper, it will be counted. So if you want to record a vote for "none of the above", you can.
